Watercolour on film – behind the scenes

In collaboration with St Cuthberts Mill, we will be producing three short films exploring the diverse and versatile medium of watercolour. Our filming session took place yesterday at Bath School of Art and Design where tutor Mandy Bonnell along with students Martha Kesley and Steve Burden demonstrated how they use watercolour within their own practice to document, experiment and push creative boundaries.  Working on a variety of papers kindly provided by St Cuthberts Mill, the Artists produced works which celebrate the fluidity, spontaneity and rich history of watercolour.
