The Sunday Times Watercolour Competition 2016, kindly supported by Smith & Williamson

Smith & Williamson is once again supporting the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition. Now in its 29th year, the competition is the largest and most prestigious prize for contemporary watercolour painting in the UK.

Supporters of the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition since 2009, Smith & Williamson have created and sponsor the Smith & Williamson Cityscape Prize, which attracts applicants from across the country.

The competition offers a total prize fund of £17,500, including a First Prize of £10,000, Second Prize of £6,000, and the Smith & Williamson Cityscape Prize of £1,500.

Submissions will be judged in early July with Smith & Williamson staff and partners selecting the winner of the Smith & Williamson Cityscape Prize. The judging process will be led by Charles Winter who is a partner of Smith & Williamson Investment Management.
